BornaTech Startup

Founder - CEO - Mechanical Design Engineer

My startup company was founded with the goal of empowering individuals who have suffered from spinal cord injuries or physical disabilities. We had the opportunity to design and develop two robots for assistive mobility and rehabilitation: ISTARO, which enables paraplegic patients to stand, sit, and move on their feet without assistance, and Exoro, an innovative robot designed for patients with paralysis in both the upper and lower extremities to stand, sit, and move with greater ease and independence.

  • Designed and analyzed parts and mechanisms using Autodesk Inventor.
  • Utilized MATLAB-Simulink to simulate and control the robots.
  • Assembled the prototypes and conducted testing in various locations, including the Robotics Lab at Shiraz University and physiotherapy centres.
