Developing a low-cost home-based mobility and rehabilitation device is crucial to improve patient well-being, reduce illness severity, and lower caregiving expenses. The Exoro fills the gap between powered wheelchairs and exoskeletons, offering an innovative solution for individuals with paralysis to stand, sit, and move with the push of a button.

Istaro

A Mobility Assistive Robot

The robot enables paraplegic patients to move and rehabilitate independently by allowing them to stand, sit, and move. I conducted research, designed, controlled, and analyzed parts and mechanisms, developed a prototype, and obtained an I.R.I patent for the project using Autodesk Inventor. We launched the startup company to bring this innovative technology to the market.

Rehabot 

Gait Rehabilitation Robot

Novel rehabilitation robot for gait therapy.

Design, dynamic modelling, simulation, and control by MATLAB and Autodesk Inventor.
Real-time Arduino-based controller, integrate designed models with MATLAB/Simulink into robot setup.
Prototyping and testing the robot in the Robotics and Control Lab at Shiraz University.

Suction Project

Electrosurgery Smoke Suction

I conducted research and collaborated with the medical engineering team at Namazi hospital to design and manufacture an electrosurgery smoke suction device that not only eliminates odors but also deodorizes the air. We also obtained a patent for the innovative idea.
